Issue the following commands to change CRS309-1G-8S+IN to SwOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Before running the commands below, make sure your switch is in advanced mode, run <code>system\/device-mode\/print<\/code> and ensure <strong>mode: advanced<\/strong> is there, else set the device mode to advanced by <code>system\/device-mode\/update mode=advanced<\/code> and reboot the router<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Steps to follow &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update routerboard setting<br><code>system\/device-mode\/update routerboard=yes<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power cycle the switch or reboot by pressing the reset button (better to just turn off power)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set boot-os to SwOS<br><code>system\/routerboard\/settings\/set boot-os=swos<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reboot the switch<br><code>system\/reboot<\/code><br><br>Reboot, yes? [y\/N]:<br>y<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The switch will reboot to SwOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Please note: When booting to SwOS, it <strong>will not make a beep<\/strong> to confirm boot success.
