I wanted to achieve the same but creating simple queues one by one of a whole subnet is absolute madness and utterly boring. Therefore, use the following script to help creating multiple simple queues in Mikrotik at once. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"hcb_wrap\"><pre class=\"prism off-numbers lang-bash\" data-lang=\"Bash\" data-show-lang=\"0\"><code>:for x from 1 to 254 do={\/queue simple add name=&quot;queue-$x&quot; max-limit=2M\/2M target=&quot;192.168.6.$x&quot;  queue=default\/default parent=LINK3 }<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Explanation of the above code<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><code>:for x from 1 to 254 do=<\/code> tells the router to keep creating queues until the value of <code>x <\/code>reaches 254 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>{\/queue simple add name=\"queue-$x\"<\/code> defines the name format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>max-limit=2M\/2M target=\"192.168.6.$x\"<\/code> limits the maximum upload and download speed of the queue. Leave blank <code>max-limit=\"\"<\/code> to have the queues unrestricted bandwidth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>queue=default\/default<\/code> changes queue type from <code>small-default<\/code> to <code>default<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>parent=LINK3<\/code> adds the new simple queue to a parent queue called &#8220;LINK3&#8221;.
